In 1995, Davis & Sons Plumbing didn’t start with a grand office or a fleet of trucks. It began, as many great American stories do, in a modest bedroom in a Cobb County home. Robbie Davis, Kenny Davis, Justin Davis, and their mother, Sara Davis, four family members with one dream, formed the original crew. They weren’t business moguls or investors chasing margins. They were local plumbers through and through. These Cobb County parents had a shared mission to build something of their own for their family.

Their mother, Sara, wore many hats: matriarch, bookkeeper, and the glue that held the early business together. Even after her passing, her legacy runs deep throughout the company culture and its values.

From Cartersville to Cobb to Powder Springs: Growth Anchored in Grit

After launching operations in their parents’ home, the business moved briefly to Cartersville before returning to Cobb County, this time to Austell, where they remained for 12 solid years. Eventually, they planted permanent roots in Powder Springs, where they’ve operated from their current facility for the last four years.

Each move was a milestone in their evolution. The Davises were no strangers to change, but they never lost sight of who they were: plumbers first, business people second.

As they say themselves, “We’re not accountants who own a plumbing company. We’re plumbers who own a plumbing company.”

From Strip Malls to Single-Family Homes: Adapting, Evolving, Expanding

Davis & Sons started in residential plumbing and commercial plumbing with building shopping centers, managing 190+ apartment complexes across Atlanta, and servicing high-rise buildings and restaurants. Their skill and scale led to a partnership with THE HOME DEPOT®, initially handling commercial plumbing needs.

Davis & Sons has been THE HOME DEPOT® Preferred Residential service provider for the past six years. In this role, Davis & Sons has brought their residential and industrial-level expertise into the homes of THE HOME DEPOT® Georgia residents, becoming trusted problem-solvers and everyday heroes.

Today, Davis & Sons is still proudly family-owned and operated, but far from standing still. They’ve invested heavily in both talent and technology, ensuring their team is licensed, bonded, and thoroughly background-checked (especially with THE HOME DEPOT® strict requirements).

They’ve also invested in state-of-the-art equipment, like a $75,000 plus wireless jetting machine that can clean sewer lines indoors and tackle the toughest grease blockages. As they put it, “It’s beautiful. I cry every time I look at it.”

Rooted in Community, Giving Back with Heart

Community isn’t a marketing strategy at Davis & Sons. It’s personal. From supporting the Calvary Christian Children’s Home in honor of their mother to sponsoring local baseball teams, rodeos, and the Atlanta Food Bank, they want to give back to the community.

They have a family symbol, the number “4”, which represents the four family members. Justin’s commitment can be seen as a tattooed four-leaf clover on his shoulder, representing the original crew that started it all. It’s not just branding. It’s our legacy.
