Sewer Inspection Services You Can Trust

Serving Smyrna, Hiram, Douglasville, Kennesaw, Dallas, and more

A problem with your sewer line isn’t just a hassle. It can lead to serious damage and expensive repairs. Whether you’re noticing slow drains, strange gurgling sounds, or you’re buying a home and want peace of mind, a professional sewer inspection can give you the clear answers you need before things get worse.

At Davis & Sons Plumbing, we use advanced camera technology to show you exactly what’s happening in your pipes, just like an x-ray for your home’s plumbing. We can also locate the area above ground where the issue exists using a locating beacon that sends a signal through the ground from the camera head.

Our local experts will explain what we find in simple terms and give you honest recommendations, giving you the information you need to protect your home. Whether it’s tree roots blocking your pipes or aging pipes that need attention, we’ll help you spot problems before they become emergencies. A video recording of your inspection can also be provided for an extra fee.

FAQs About Sewer Inspection Services

When should I schedule a sewer inspection?

Schedule an inspection if you’re buying an older home, experiencing frequent drain backups, noticing foul odors from drains, hearing gurgling noises, or if your plumber suspects potential sewer line damage.

We insert a waterproof, high-resolution camera into your sewer line via an accessible cleanout. The camera transmits live video so we can inspect the condition of your pipes in real time without digging up your yard. Using a built-in beacon, we can also pinpoint the exact above-ground location of any underground issues by transmitting a signal through the ground.

Most residential inspections take 1-2 hours. We’ll provide a clear timeline upfront and explain any findings with a visual report.

Pricing depends on access and system complexity. We always provide transparent, upfront pricing with no surprises. If repairs are needed, we’ll clearly explain your options. Videos of the inspection can also be provided for an additional fee if you’d like a recording.

Why Does Having A Sewer Inspection Matter?

That gurgling drain or lingering odor isn’t just annoying. It’s your home’s cry for help. Left unchecked, hidden sewer problems silently create disasters:

  • Sewage backups flooding your basement
  • Toxic black mold growing behind walls
  • Sinking foundations from eroded soil
  • $10,000+ repair bills draining your savings
